Hello, been a while since iv been on arbtalk but i need some help from the brethren! Moving to New Zealand April next year, and was wondering if any one knew any small-ish company's mainly in the north island that could do with a climber. I know its a long time away, but im flying to India mid Jan and working my way over to kiwi land so trying to get this sorted so i can get my self settles as soon as i arrive. Any email addresses, company names, phone numbers would be massively appreciated. Hope the winter isnt being to harsh, and the wind brought some decent work. Cheers again. Alex ([email protected])

totally agree with you, was cutting up oak into rings today for firewood with mine, great little saw and decent power output, kickback is a little scary on them though due to the weight.

yeah proably best to stick with the replacment bridge. cheersya

yeah i do know that, but i was just wondering if their is any thing stronger. kevlar cored preferably

suffered from panic attacks due to heavily smoking weed from age 14-17. quit smoking panic attacks continued. decided best way to stop them would be to do somthing that would scare me so much i would have to deal with the fear, last panic attack i had was in college after getting my first anchor point. stayed up their till it went then came down and havent had once since.

ok so my TM bridge has been looking a little worse for ware latley and thinkin of replaceing it soon. thinking about using ocean polyester as its kevlar cord. any one have any idea what the origional TM bridge is made from?

ill be honest, i came out of college expecting 90 a day minimum. job im in now is 60 a day, i complained like hell for the first few weeks. but now i do see that top dollar demands top climbing. putting all my whining energy into climbing every tree i get to at work. give it a few more months and i recon ill be able to reduce a medium sized oak on my own. fingers crossed

what every u had befor you went to bed, send some of it my way. ur dream sounded amazing love epic dreams like that, always get them when im taking anti-biotics
-
agree with how annoying low kickback chains are. get a nice savage square cutter. ur at pretty low risk from kickbas on large saws like that
-
haha good work. surprised he didnt have a heart attack

budget budget budget. thats the problem we have at the moment, obviously screwed trees that were having to convince out TO to get taken down. Then when it comes to the end of the councils yearly budget we will be getting called out to do the most pointless tree work so they can get it just right and get the same amount of money next year. wonderfully crap system
-
would it be worth porting a MS180. nice little saw would be awsom to get a bit more power out of it. if so can any one run my roughly through what would need doing
-
wow didnt know their was such intolerance for smokers. what about sweaty people? would you not employ a hard worker who stank to high heaven after a few hours work?

what is it called when trees form natural varieties. i remember at merrist wood college all the oak trees looked similar then their was one oak tree that had very spiral like growth on the branches not helical but very erratic. the tree next to it was an oak and didnt show any signs of this growth. it wasnt due to secondary bud growt or any think, my tutor said that it may be a naturally occouring growth pattern, and if i grew an oak tree from one of the acorns it may retain this growth
