The ideal candidates will be self-motivated, experienced with positive attitude. Utility arb experience is desirable but not essential. Successful candidates will be working on Power Line Sites in the Cambridge and Anglia Area Essential requirements: · Self-motivation and positive attitude · Ability to operate electronic devices such as IPAD · NPTC chainsaw climbing (list in more detail) · NPTC manually fed wood chipper Desirable requirements: · NPTC utility arb units, UA1, UA2.1/2/3 - NPTC climbing /saw from rope and harness · NPTC operate MEWP · NPTC operate chainsaw from MEWP · Live line cutting experience (L.V.) Full UK driving licence (preferably no penalty points) with 3.5 ton towing provision. Training: Any relevant qualifications are welcome, but any specific training will be provided. Working hours: 7:00AM – 17.00PM Monday to Friday with work available most weekends. Salary: Salary between £28,000 and £35,00 per annum plus benefits based on experience and qualifications Sub Contractor/ Freelance positions are available, rates to be discussed. The ideal candidate will be an experienced climbing arborist with positive attitude and able to work well within a team. This position is not for applicants who have zero tree care industry experience, so please consider this before applying. Utility arb experience is desirable but not essential and any Utility arb training will be provided. The successful candidate will be working on Northern PowerGrid Sites in the Yorkshire area. Sites usually within an 30mins-1.5hr drive from our Catterick base.
