Will who are you aiming this at? I have a very good idea who it is. But the point i like to get across is i have been doing this for only seven years. I ok at climbing. No employer has every complained about my skills and my knowledge. Also i have lots of CS tickets but i dont class my self as a tree surgeon. I class my self as a tree climber. If that makes sense.
Carl this isn't aimed at any one it's based on a conversation I had with a guy last week who claimed to be a tree surgeon yet he didn't have a qualification to his name I just ask people's opinions.

Ah, the old politics of envy. "They're doing better than me and have new toys, but I went to Arb college and everything! ITS SO UNFAIR! I HATE YOU!"
Suck it up, buttercup!
I actually run a very profitable business I have a brand new crew cab tipper and a brand new 190 timberwolf so jealousy has nothing to do with it buttercup

In the past few months I've come across a couple of guys that have introduced them selfs as tree surgeons they have a nice van brand new timberwolf 150 they seem friendly enough chaps albeit there work was very shoddy but as I got talking to them it came quite clear to me they didn't have a qualification between them it got me thinking how can you be a tree surgeon without any qualifications be it cs tickets or a diploma in arb? And why is there no governing body to control such matters?
