  1. We also have just had a 2nd charger fail, 1st one failed and replaced within the 1st 12 months under warranty. This is 2 of 5 we currently have, are the rest destined to fail the same? It isn't like they are getting extensive use. Would be very interested to hear from others with similar problems.

  2. Due to an increasing workload we are looking for full-time staff to assist primarily with our UA and Rail works, ground staff, climbers, team leaders and surveyors.

Based in Salisbury and covering Hants, Dorset, Wilts Berks along with most other parts of the south of England, the majority of our work is utility arb, rail tree and vegetation management and commercial arboriculture.

Candidates should be experienced and hold CS units up to a minimum of CS39 (or equivalent) with CS40 and CS41 being ideal qualifications.

Other desirable qualifications to include: UA certs (UA5 for surveyors), PTS, CSCS, Signing Lighting and Guarding or any other industry relevant certification.

However, the most important attributes we are seeking are, enthusiasm, good problem solving mindset, common sense and being a good team member.

A good salary dependent on qualifications and experience. Opportunities to undertake additional training to help develop skills and pay

Message, email to [email protected]  or call to discuss in confidence. Peter 07831 568875

Google 'forestry commission blue book' and it looks possible to download it as a pdf

  4. Just wondering if anyone else has had problems with the HT133? Works fine normally but when extended there is no drive. Have had one repaired under warranty although didn't ask what the fault was and 2 that went back to dealer yesterday with the same issue. Would be interested to know if others have the same problem and if so if Stihl are aware if there is an issue

  5. 1000 ish Douglas Fir root trainers (size maybe 30/45) available nr Ringwood over purchased by a client, approximately £0.32p each collected in bulk

Root Trainers—Individual trees in bottomless paper pots. They genuinely take better and are easier to plant..

Pots about four inches by one and a half..They come in trays.and go in a planting bag the same as transplants.

    Contact if interested
