  1. That was residue from carb spray.. its the first time I have added photos, and I have duplicated a few..
  2. I have just stripped the carb, and ordered new pipes, and a diaphragm set..
  3. Thank you for mentioning this, I appreciate that, as I am very much V over IR man..
  4. What about the 18v Dewalt, as I have already a couple of batteries?
  5. Yeah, I have ultrasonic cleaned the carb, fitted a couple of diaphragm's, fuel feed and return pipes, tank filter etc, I love all this kind of stuff.. I'm starting to think down the lines of, its the mag that's breaking down!! I am looking at the Stihl range.. Dyslexia is an amazing gift in many ways, for me I have to reread everything I write, and it still comes out jumbled up!
  6. Not considered that, as I am a builder and tuner or race engines, I'm in the process of building a 105E with an ELVA conversion to go in a 60s Lotus 7..
  7. Thanks, I appreciate all what you are saying, a 12" bar would be ample.. My old Husqvarna has served me well, yet the last couple of outings with it, it has run like a bag of nails! I have to keep adjusting the mixture, I have stripped the carb several times in its life, new oil pumps etc... at nearly seventy, I would like to just walk down the field, do half to an hours tidying up without any hassle..
  8. I currently use a 2011 Husqvarna 235.., it will only be used for just limbing upto a 4" saplings..
  9. I am thinking of purchasing a New chainsaw for general use around the farm. Any recommendations greatly appreciated.. Pros & Cons as well..
