  3. Perfect thanks on that note i have a couple of piles that have been on our land for around 3 years im in the process of splittling that now for use in the home, if these logs do get wet how log do they genuinely take to dry and be good use in the fire? thanks

Hi all been given aload of cut down timber that i wish to use for firewood next winter or winter after, it will be kept in a barn to keep dry its all been cut up in to smalll sections my question is am i better off leaveing it as a unsplit log or split them to season quicker/better? some pictures attatched if that helps many thanks

  7. Apologies i have mot used a battery saw on it id be there for years doing it i was just asking what chainsaw to buy as all i have is a battery one

  9. Good point! My battery chainsaw just seems to die quite quick wood i have at the minute is around 2-3 ft in diameter chains always sharpe

Hi im not a chainsaw expert i have very little knowledge i have been given alot of cut down trees that i wish to cut up into small sizes for logs to heat the home, this year i have just been useing a battery powered dewalt chainsaw but feel i need to get a petrol one with the size of the wood i have now what chainsaw can anyone recommend its not for everyday use just at home many thanks

  14. Hi all im trying to find a seller of lorry loads of cut down trees to be processed down to firewood logs by myself very close to running out of wood, does anybody have any recommendations? many thanks

    Please call 20-30mins before drop off can accept any lengths of wood ideally ash,beech,cherry,oak and wood chip, i will open gates to yard big enough for vans and lorry loads. Open for drop off 7days a week between 9am-6pm
