  1. Hello, I am trying to get some advice on how to affordably treat my four Western Cedars that a couple arborists have said have bore beetles. I live in the Portland metro area of Oregon which has been having drier and hotter summers. Both arborists have recommended either thousands of dollars in treatments or 10 thousand dollars to just remove the trees. I want to save these trees, but I cannot afford to treat them for thousand dollars. Is there anything I can do to help them? I would really appreciate any help from an expert. Thank you, Tyson
