  1. I wanted to say thank you so very much to everyone who took the time to respond, and to tell me I was over reacting:) I'm so grateful, and appreciate the chance to learn what good looks like. Thank you everyone, really chuffed at the response, relieved for the lovely trees and no, I won't hire a hit man then:))
  2. Hello, I'd really welcome some advice on whether to take action on the pictures attached. I'm a total amateur, but passionate lover and protector of trees and live in an AONB. What that means sadly, is there are often very wealthy landowners who will push what they can do with old trees. The pics show action taken yesterday, and in my admittedly amateur perspective they look like they have been brutally pollarded. If i'm wrong and they will recover please do tell me, but if not, I will report this to the council and get these landowners warned so at least there is hope it won't be repeated. Could you also guide me on how a tree surgeon could do this? Surely there ought to be standards? Can action be taken against tree surgeons. Again, if I'm over reacting or out of proportion please do guide me, I want to learn so I can be of greater help. Thank you so much.
