  1. In today's market, even beat-up compact tractors are fetching surprising prices, but selling it as a non-runner might only get you a few grand at best depending on the model and condition. Personally, if you like the tractor and it suits your work, I'd lean toward fixing it properly. As others have said, take the opportunity to freshen everything else up while it's apart—brakes, lights, service the engine—and you’ll probably get a good few more years out of it for a lot less than the cost of a decent replacement.
  2. I’ve been seriously thinking about adding an electric top handle to my setup for lighter pruning work. It's so helpful hearing real-world feedback from people using the Stihl, Milwaukee, and even the Echo options. Sounds like a lot of these battery saws are becoming real contenders for professional jobs, not just backyard work. Big thanks to everyone sharing their experiences — makes the decision a lot less overwhelming when you know what to actually expect out in the field!
  3. As someone fairly new to the practical side of tree work regulations, I really appreciate the detailed explanations about TPOs, conservation areas, and the common law rights regarding overhanging branches. It is clear that proper communication between neighbours and a solid understanding of the legal background are just as important as good arboricultural practice.
