  2. Hello Just joined the group so I hope I can post this here, if not id appreciate being shown where is appropriate. Ok so a large old oak has fallen over the winter on my land, I'm looking to hire an experienced saw mill guy to cut through the main trunk to create oak slabs for a relative to make table tops....the tree is large the main trunk where im looking fot the cuts is will be 9-10ft in length, diameter, of the trunk is 9ft and the trunk is 28-32" in width. 32" depth. The cuts will be 2 or 3" thickness. I myself only use a 54cc for general logging and ha e ZERO milling experience. I'm based in North Wales, any help advice etc. Would be greatly appreciated.
