  1. The log it stands on is different
  2. It's got greeny skin/bark. Hardwood, don't imagine it will burn too well. Received as logs so no idea what it is???
  3. Yeah makes sense. Thanks
  4. It wasn't supported at the end so I knew there was considerable tension. That's why I tried to wedge cut it underneath then take it down to the hinge from the top. But I think I went too far up, I.e halfway through from the underside. I think I might have been ok had a gone for more angle and therefore less in. You reckon?
  5. It was just a phone placed on upturned roots btw. Didn't think that base was going to be the big mover
  6. The physics involved in an area still dominoing from storm Arwin are incredible. A rookie especially or anyone can come unstuck. I need lessons. Anyone in Northumberland please contact re. training thanks
  7. That's the buds, bit of a stretch for photo
  8. Ahh right ok thanks. Good job my nesting box is on far trunk.
  9. Ewww. Is it? Catastrophically so??
  10. Any advice on what tree this is in my garden?

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
