    I inherited the stove with the house, so no instructions. But i think it is old.

    I won't ask him to come back, he lives 80 miles away, I'm in rural France. I'm sure it's easy to fit as there are no screw holes etc, so it must just sit on something.

    After a visit from the chimney sweep I lit a fire and 10 mins later this dropped into the fireplace. Is it a baffle? How do I refit it?
