  1. That's fair, but 9 times out of 10 I'm doing the work of 2/3 people, figured why not work for myself instead. At the moment just looking for the odd job to build up a portfolio
  2. Hi I'm just starting out in the arb industry after finishing college and wondering how different jobs are priced? Crown raising, crown thinning or reductions as well as removals that require lowering equipment as well as ones that don't require it, is there a good pricing tool or template so I know I'm not over or under charging someone? And how you would price emergency tree works? Should it be done as a good Samaritan? Thanks 👍

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
