  1. Thank you will take a look at these
  2. Hope this sounds like a company question from a bot why are people on forums always d** heads? how computer generated does that sound actual person wanting some advice, I’m a female training for tree work from a line access and other technical systems. im a real world person looking at industry standards and trying to gauge the best from people who have been in the trade for a long time who know better than I For example my courses demanded type c chainsaw pants however lots of people actually go with type a due to the hot weather they are as thick as a ski pant…. if not welcome here I will go elsewhere …
  3. Hi happy Tuesday I’m wondering what people actually wear on there feet? I’ve read that chain saw boots are awful for climbing and steel toe caps make it all the worse and they aren’t comfortable but also for a risk assessment I’m fairly sure you need to have chainsaw boots? are there massive differences between classes of boot with regards to comfort and climbing ability ? a lot of the work we will be doing will be private based not a big firm
  4. Hi all been out in the trees today setting up some systems and after one day of ascending ropes on DRT (moving rope system) my hands are blistered and saw as anything mainly using hitch climber, vt hitch what I’ve found as I’m trying to hip thrust my hands are so blistered is it a case of bad technique lack of gloves or using some other kit I’ve been thinking about the hand ascenders? Does anyone use these ?? I’ve used in mountaineering before or a 3 to 1 system of some sort ? any help would be appreciated
