  1. I have bought 10 acres of woodland planted in the mid 70s. All Norway spruce and Douglas fir with a few scattered Birch. Can anyone give advice on the best way to obtain Permission from the local authority to put 6 Shipping containers in the centre of the Woodland to keep equipment and provide shelter and a workshop. I intend to clad the containers in timber planks and paint to roofs Green/ Brown. The 6 Containers will be stacked 2 high at 5m with office and shelter on top and storage of tools and equipment below. The use will be for forestry use only and positioned as follows. Further than 80m in all 4 directions to boundary, further than 3 Kilometres from any Aerodrome and more than 25m from the road access. From what I have read this comes under Permitted Development Right but how do I approach the Local Authority for approval.
