  1. Hi all, I have been asked if I would like to plant a new woodland. All the trees, canes and spiral guards are supplied and the land is kind. Not very steep and no bracken as the land has been grazed heavily over the years. Any idea on a planting price? Thanks.
  2. Hi, yes makes sense. I will have a chat with the customer and come up with a price that's fair for both. Thanks for your thoughts 👍
  3. Thanks very much for the reply. I think agreeing a day rate with the customer rather than a per tree price is the sensible route. At least until I have gained enough experience to know better! Thanks again 👍
  4. Hi all, I have done a bit of tree planting over the last couple of seasons. Mostly all broard leave trees that have to be guarded. I very much see myself still new to the job but really enjoy it. I have been asked to do a beat up job on a site that was planted by someone else. The trees are Douglas fir and don't need to be guarded. I haven't visited the site yet so not sure as for terrain etc. I have never done a beat up job before. Just wondering what the current rates are? I know every site is different but a rough guide would be very helpful. Many thanks.
