  1. Hello, Cassian! It's been 7 years since this was posted but it was a great read--amazing to see every little magic of nature. I was wondering about the tree pictured in Fig. 38 and 39. Inosculation is an interest of mine and a symbol that means a lot to me and my girlfriend. I am planning on proposing to her near inosculated trees and have been scouring the internet for ones that start apart and grow together, the type of 'equal partnership' seen in Fig. 38 and 39. If possible, I would love to know where these photos were taken. I also understand any potential hesitance given the unfortunate reality that many people disrespect the natural world--I'd be happy to correspond one-on-one if that would help. Anyway, if you see this, it would be great if you could comment or message me back either way. Have a good one!
