We are inviting entries for the European Chainsaw Carving Championships to be held on the 13/14/15th September 2012 at Ragley Estate, Alcester, Warwickshire, UK. Sponsored by A W Jenkinson and UPM Tilhill this will be a three day open carve with a maximum of 25 carvers. Timber will be 2m x 1.2m redwood. 1st prize is £500 plus the trophy. The event is being staged as part of APF 2012, the UK's largest forestry and woodland exhibition. We are also staging the Husqvarna World 25m poleclimbing championships and the European Horse Logging Championships. 250 exhibitors and around 20000 visitors are expected over the three days

Rules and entry forms can be found in the Competition and Events section of our website APF 2012, the UK?s largest forestry and arboricultural exhibition is returning to the same location as its hugely successful 2010 event.. Entries must be received by 25th May.
