Twin Stihl 076 Chain Mill, complete with ladder gauge. Stihl LSG950 chain mill complete with 2 Stihl 076 AV Electronic chain saws (one of which is the Quick Stop), and a heavy duty ladder guage for 1st cut and subsequent cuts (if required). The mill will cut a maximum of 50" ( 1.3m) and will cut slabs up to 10 1/2" ( .27m) thick. Also included is a 36" Stihl bar for cutting butts off to length and will fit either of the saws. Chains for both the mill and spare bar are included. Please note that the 076's do not have brake handles fitted as they can be easily engaged during operation, on the timber being slabbed and hamper the mills use. (Handles are readily available cheap on ebay if needed.) This mill is the ultimate in transportable mills and needs very little space around the timber and is highly efficient in confined spaces. I have owned this mill for 10 years and have used it very little as it was a used as backup to my Lucas Mill (which has now been sold). The mill has had an overhaul and only needed a few minor bits and adjustments. One wooden side roller is damaged, but rubber boat rollers are available on ebay as a replacement, (very cheap). Any further info please feel free to contact Tim on 01758 721559 or 07870 504580.
