I'm on my third Jensen and had no problems apart from the expected ones.

I stick with Jensen because the after sales service from Arbrep Services is excellent.

 

However, I do think that your first move should have been to get the dealer to sort this rather than ask this forum for opinions. Plenty of the folks that offer strong opinions on here have never used a chipper!

 

Yeah well picked it up as it sounded like a good deal from Beaver plant,

Well I rang them up immediately obviously... they said I should fix it! They did say they would send some replacement parts down but not heard from them since. They weren't entertaining the idea of compensating me for loss of time repairing and work interruptions either
