Our client is the tree section of a local authority in the south west near Bristol. As a unitary authority they are responsible for all govermental functions in a mixed urban and rural area which includes the world heritage city of Bath and attractive rural areas stretching towards the Mendips.

 

The council are currently looking to recruit a skilled climbing arborist to work on one of their tree gangs. The role will involve the full range of works to trees on highways, park, schools, housing and other council owned land. The ideal candidate will be qualified to NPTC CS39 and have some working experience.

 

The position is initially offered on a temporary basis at an hourly rate of pay of £9.03 PH rising to £9.45 after 12 weeks.
