Fountains is currently recruiting for its 2016 Arboriculture Apprenticeship Scheme. The one year programme combines college-based learning with workplace training and is an ideal way to begin a career in arboriculture.

 

Selected candidates will undergo full training at both Askham Bryan College and on site whilst working for Fountains. Successful completion of the training will result in a Level 2 Work-based Diploma in Trees and Timber qualification and nationally recognised utility and arboriculture competencies. Once qualified, there will be prospects for progression in the company and you will be well placed to continue your career in arboriculture in either a ‘hands on’ role or by progressing to a management or supervisory post.

 

Applicants should be enthusiastic, hardworking and able to work as part of a team. Due to the nature of the industry, a high awareness of health and safety is also required. Applicants may be asked to attend a practical based interview at Askham Bryan College, York. Please note that you must be aged 18+ and have a full UK driving licence to apply.
