Our client is a West Midlands local authority tree section. They undertake the tree maintenance completely 'in house' using directly employed arborists. The work involves pruning, dismantling and planting on all council owned land. This includes some higher profile work in an established arboretum.

They are currently looking to employ one temporary climber for a minimum of three months. After this there will be the opportunity to extend the contract or possibly apply for a permanent position. Ideally they would like to recruit a qualified climber with some experience, but they will also consider newly qualified candidates with NPTCs for aerial tree cutting. .

Rate of pay from £9.87 PH for a 37 hour week plus 28 days annual leave.
