We use the big toros at work and have to cut a large area of grass that get cut roughly every quarter. The toros seem munch through it easy enough. The company I work for has been using these sort of mowers for about a year and we haven't had one that was complete write off yet.

Do you mean like the ones I mentioned in the first post or something of higher caliber?

I'm now thinking more seriously about 2nd hand equipment, maybe a BCS power scythe.

The exact same ones they mulch really well once the grass is down id recommend the kawsaki engines due the bigger fuel tank. We use the brigs ones and your constantly filling it up. Brilliant mower leaves a nice cut

If you're interested I have a BCS 740 power unit for sale, which can power the flail mower or scythe bar. I've just replaced it for a brand new one as its too tired for commercial use but might suit your needs? Basically GWO. Bargain at £500 :001_smile:

Thanks for offer arcadian. I have recently picked up a 2nd hand (hardly used but less than half price!) Al-Ko BM5001R Scythe Mower that seems to do the job. Thanks for all advice!
