Beware Fake Predator Scam Listings on Ebay

Recently there have been quite a few scam listings of used Predator stump grinders on Ebay. As our customers will know, used tracked Predators are not easy to come by and it can be very tempting to think you have a great deal without noticing the warning signs. The old adage applies here, if it looks too good to be true then it probably is!

If we see a scam listing we report it to Ebay, however this does not guarantee that Ebay will remove it immediately, or before the listing ends, or at all.

A few tips for you to watch out for:

- The Seller has zero feedback

- The Seller refuses to give you contact details other than an email address

- The Seller asks for a part payment/deposit to be made immediately by bank transfer and won't accept payment by Paypal.

- The Seller won't allow you to see the machine first before a payment is made because: he's been let down previously, hasn't got the machine in an accessible place... (insert any other excuse).

If all the above apply to a listing, then its a scam.

If you are uncertain, don't part with your cash for a used Predator on Ebay until you have spoken to us so we can advise you, chances are we can tell you immediately if it looks legit or not.
