Stihl MS181 Throttle Rod Help

I am sure these repairs are long complete, but I had to remove the top of the handle to properly place the throttle linkage rod. This was done by inserting the flat end of the scrench into the bottom end of the rear handle. Most use I've had from one of those little wrenches yet.

Ah-huh, I did manage to break the throttle switch cover on my 211 :blushing:

Ok, so i could have just bought a new cover but this fix allows me to take it all apart without fear of breaking the next cover :001_smile:

I appreciate that this is seven years later, but can I ask where you got that metal clip from.  I have broken the plastic tab on the upper handle, and when I pull the trigger, the throttle linkage moves out of it's housing.  I can order another upper handle replacement part, but the plastic is a bit naff and prone to snapping.
