Kubota tractors.

I've had my Kubota 9540 about 3 years now and really like it.

It is the next size down from the range you are looking at and the previous generation.

I bought it because it has basic mechanics and minimal electronic controls.

The model you are looking at has a power shift transmission and electronic engine management both of which will be common to any new tractor of that size.

Kubota have a very good reputation for reliability but tend to be a little thirsty for their size.

They are normally lighter than others for their horsepower but very good manoeuvrability for their size

The cab controls feel Japanese a little light but everything works as it should.

When you come to sell it farmers tend to be more brand loyal on larger tractors and Kubota is a newcomer at this size.

If you think it's what you want get one on demo, if your dealer won't demo one the look elsewhe as its not going to be the start of a happy relationship.

A bit longwinded but I hope this helps.
