Second climber or Groundsman - Gloucestershire - £15,600 to £18,600

Small arboricultural contractor based in scenic area of Gloucestershire near Cheltenham requires an NPTC qualified, groundsman or second climber to supplement existing 2 man team. The company undertakes work in both rural areas of the Cotswolds and also in Cheltenham for mainly domestic customers. They have been established for some years and have a large number of repeat customers ensuring they always have a full order book.

 

Second climbers: must have NPTCs up to and including CS39 (use of chainsaw from rope and harness). Previous experience not required so a college leaver will be considered, Training will be provided to bring candidates up to speed on pruning and basic dismantling works. In return they are offering £18600 as a starting salary plus paid leave and CPD.

 

Groundsman: must have NPTC CS30 as a minimum and be willing to take CS38. Again no previous experience required. Rate of pay would be £15,600 to £17,100 to start.
