We undertake all aspects of arboricultural tree management including planting semi-mature trees, veteranisation, small woodland management and often get involved with specialist projects which may require working away from home on occasions (see our web site special projects page for examples). As such the role may include work in these areas in addition to climbing / grounds work.

As a minimum the candidate is required to hold NPTC certificates CS 30, 31, 38 & 39 and have a full driving license. It would be advantageous if you also hold the following: CS 40 &41, IPAF, NRSW Signing, Lighting & Guarding, or other industry relevant qualifications.

The ideal candidate must also be able to demonstrate a keen knowledge of trees, significant defects and diseases and will be expected to undertake a visual tree identification test upon interview. They must also be able to demonstrate up to date climbing techniques, rigging and lowering.

Contracted working hours are Mon - Fri between 0700 & 1600 with some emergency callout and overtime/weekend working available as operations require.

All PPE, equipment and company clothing are provided. We are also committed to employees CPD and encourage and provide industry training relevant to the member of staff’s role.

If you believe this description matches your skill set, have a passion for climbing trees and are interested in a career within a firm that truly values its staff and trees then please contact Richard Ravencroft to request a job application form at [email protected]
