Glendale has a well established office in Savernake Forest, Marlborough delivering woodland & estates management, grounds maintenance and landscaping services along the M4 corridor, Wiltshire and Dorset. The office also oversees select key accounts on a national basis and now seeks an ambitious operational manager to join the team.

 

Based in the area, the successful candidate will be a proactive operational junior manager who will be able to offer operational, financial and commercial support to the contract manager.

 

Experience in managing direct labour and sub-contractors across a wide geographical area, pricing projects and great customer care are essential to this role, as well as practical experience in the installation of planting, fencing and estates improvement, woodland, countryside and landscaping projects.

 

You will hold a full drivers license, good IT skills and hold a level 3 certificate in a land based subject.

 

In addition, you will need to have excellent time management and administrative skills with the ability to work in a demanding environment with a strong health and safety culture, display excellent people management and communication skills.

 

The ideal candidate will hold natural leadership qualities, display innovation and enthusiasm, and have a passion for excellent customer service.
