It's not a bad stick, and unusual to find a beech of that size without a darker heart. You might struggle to get £500 (£2.40 a hoppus, or thereabouts) as it's oversized and not part of a full load. I had about 7 tonnes of slightly smaller and cleaner beech last year for £2.50/hf. It being 0.7m diameter on average meant it flew through the mill whereas 1.1m is too big for most.

 

Good luck with the sale. It's a nice lump.

If it does not sell it,s going to be firewood about £1400 when made into kiln dried firewood. It just seem a shame to firewood it. Got some smaller bits cut to 2.4 meter x 1 metre.
