Arb Access Ltd are a Commercial Tree Surgery business based in Devon, who carry out railway de-vegetation and tree clearance contract works for a number of different clients across the UK. We currently have projects in Berkshire, Devon and Surrey. We have a number of highly qualified staff who work for us, and we are always looking for ways to grow our company by employing more of the right enthusiastic people who share our overall missions.

 

There are many different career options for an arborist working within the rail sector, and with the planned developments to our infrastructure in the future, there has never been a better time to be involved with this thriving market.

 

In order to work alongside the railways lines, all operatives require a PTS (Personal Track Safety) Qualification. They will also be required to attend a full medical exam and drug and alcohol test prior to being accepted onto a PTS course. The costs and the associated organisation of these courses can prevent skilled operatives from entering this market.

 

Arb Access are looking for ways to encourage qualified arborists into an exciting tree surgery role based on the railways, so we are prepared to discuss funding opportunities to give access to Rail Qualifications and we can provide support in obtaining Sponsorship by one of Network Rails principal contractors.
