Morning. I was thinking of doing a min 2m rather than the strict 1m. The 2 hollow horizontal limbs could do with more weight off them. I had a drive past again on my travels. Evidence of inner Canopy producing new growth :). Small but life anyways. I want to retain , Id just like a much to present the customer as possible :)

Good news on the inner crown!, and yes it's best not to be strict on lengths or cut sizes. Giving a range may be easier to communicate.

 

The option to fell is so clear-cut haha that it's much easier to communicate. So felling often is unintentionally overemphasised as more logical, even though pruning retains tree value, and avoids increasing the risk to adjacent trees.
