Fiskars XA23

Essentially a Fiskars billhook, anybody got or used one yet?

 

If their other stuff is anything to go by it should be a good article.

Yes I've got one, it was given to me by a friend in France in part payment for some tree work. i find it very light and the handle is too smooth so there is a tendency for it to fly out of your hand. I've countered this by putting a cricket bat rubber handle sleeve on it. it feels much safer in the hand now.

Does it keep an edge well?

I've only used it a few times but it seems ok. i rechecked your post and mine is the XA 3 not the XA23. mine has the shorter handle.As a freebie i can't grumble, it saved me forking out a load of Euro donks for one.
