Glendale activities include; Utilities, Grounds management, Countryside management, Landscaping, Horticulture and Golf course management.

 

Due to recent contract awards we currently have the following vacancies for immediate start.

 

Estates Workers (Grass and Vegetation Management)

 

2 x staff based at Marlborough

 

2 x Staff based at Salisbury

 

Salary – <£8 per hr. Fixed Term – March 2015

 

Monday – Friday – 40 hours per week + overtime

 

Working for our Countryside teams, and covering rural parts of Wiltshire and Dorset, you will be required to assist one of our clients with their grass cutting and vegetation management rounds and other associated duties.

 

Work includes the cutting for vegetation with brush cutters and mowers from waterways as well as the hand clearance of vegetation using handtools.

 

The ideal candidate will hold a brush cutter ticket, and an emergency first aid ticket. They will have practical experience of grass cutting using strimmers and mowers, and will have a basic ID of invasive species and wild flowers. An understanding of countryside management preferable and a drivers licence is desirable.
