Due to our continued growth, we have a great opportunity for an experienced and qualified Utility Arborist. The work involves Line Clearance of street and park trees throughout Wellington Council's local board regions.

 

To be considered suitable for this position, it is preferable that you:

Have at least one year's full time line clearance experience

Be conversant with the use of an EWP (a strong advantage)

Be a skilled climber

Hold a current HT licence (preferable) or have a minimum of a Class 2 licence

Have a strong work ethic and have a production focused personality, with a willingness to learn

Have a good level of fitness and be a team player with a positive attitude

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit which is valid for at least one year.

 

Please note, as part of the interview process you will be required to undertake a climbing trial in the applicable vacancy location. Additional criteria include passing our pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol tests and the completion of reference checks. We are a drug/alcohol free company and safety is our first priority.
