Veteran Tree Management

Have just been given the job of mapping and surveying all the old/veteran trees on one of the Nature Reserves I help manage so any pointers/help welcome

 

Is there a specific survey form for using on veteran trees?

 

Has anyone created woodland walks with veteran trees as focal points? Did they work?

I would also suggest maybe getting a copy of "Veteran Trees-Risk and Responsibility".....currently out of print apparently although if you contact the AA, they will send you a copy for a small fee.

Cheers for that - pretty indepth stuff but will be useful if I create my own survey forms.
