Katsura (Cercidiphyllum japonicum)

Hi, Is this stuff any use as firewood? I've got a few multi-stems to take back to single stems, so I'll have a couple of loads of logs to come out of them, but I've not come across them before. How do they burn? Ash? Sycamore? Lime? Pine? Poplar?

Its wood.

When its dry it will burn well.

I guess that its properties will be similar to pine.

 

I'm not thinking that there will be too much of it in the UK and therefore not too much knowledge of how good a firewood it may be.

 

Dry it.
