PC . We just recently quoted to clear up a fallen eucalyptus in a garden . The chap declined our quote saying a bit too much , I will get my gardener to do it ........A week later the gardener had cut all the brash off and piled it every which way in a tangled mess . One or two cuts in the trunk with a poorly sharpened Band Q special and abandoned . Can we come and sort it out ! . Yes of course ... Same price as we quoted but harder work because of the tangled mess but hey ho ...We then got other work from it . Stick to your guns but be sure you quote for exactly what the customer wants not what you would do if it were your own problem in your own house .

 

 

Thanks for your point Stubby, I think you've hit the nail about the what the customer wants thing. The lady wanted my opinion on what would be best, I gave it her along with the quote and lost it to a completely different quote. Hey Ho we live and learn that's the main thing.
