Post title: Tree Team Supervisor (Job no: 000365)

Grade: 6 - £27,070 - with possible progression to £29,501 per annum

Contract: Permanent- 37 hours per week (annualised hours)

 

Oxford City Council has a vacancy for a Tree Team Supervisor in our Leisure, Parks & Communities Service Area. This is an exciting opportunity to join us in our journey from Good to Great. We maintain over 1,000 hectares of parks, green spaces, cemeteries, sports areas and 87 play areas and have 5 green flag awards for our parks.

 

Main Duties & Responsibilities

 

The candidate’s key responsibilities will be the daily supervision, monitoring and motivation of the Arb Team. The other key duty will be to support and contribute to the technical knowledge of the Parks Team.

You will have significant experience of working within the tree industry and of leading teams on tree works, holding the requisite NPTC Certificates and a clean driving licence, preferably a full pre 1997 or subsequent trailer test award licence.
