Forestry work exchange in Southern France

i am an English forester in the South of France.

 

I am offering a work exchange placement for a particularly “ENTHUSIASTIC” young forester who would enjoy a French forestry experience in June /July for 2 to 4 weeks.

 

The benefits include a paid return flight to Lyon, free pick up and return to the airport of lyon, full board with us in our gite, guaranteed sunshine. I am English, my wife is a bilingual teacher.

 

The work is unpaid, it includes stacking logs the French way, using a chainsaw, bucking, preparing nets of logs and nets of lighting sticks.

 

Chainsaw, tractor, hakky pilke wood processor experience would be useful but not necessary.

 

Interviews will take place the last week in May in south Lincolnshire.
