Legal and sustainable forest source requirements for woodfuel

Been reading up on the changes coming to woodfuel supplies to those receiving the rhi. Could have quite an impact particularly if it comes to smaller schemes like those log kilns and importers of woodfuel.

 

This is from the Central Point of Expertise on Timber (CPET). It's a service of the UK Government. CPET has been set up by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra).

is this not all covered by the FSC scheme.

 

well it keeps referring to it.

Does this mean that those who burn their own home grown fuel or arbs burning wood from jobs will not get the RHI??

That's right woody. Only bigger schemes but can see it coming to all.
