OOOOPS, typo,

David I am sure lots of people can empathise with that, in fairness when something like that happens work takes a back seat.

You could try the local machinery ring, sometimes they get discounted courses, if you have connections in farming.

Out of interest how old are you ? where are you located ?

Just interested, some local authority woodland schemes were offering 40% grants for training , its always worth a look into. Whats your past work history , whats the attraction to the timber trade ?

my past work history is drivers mate,security police, Gardner, Computer tec, fencing and the attraction is one my Granddad and uncle were in the trade and i just like the look of the work and love seeing this is how it looked now it looks like this if you get what i mean

Oh ok, nothing wrong with that. Saw tickets are a barrier obviously , try all avenues , Norfolk has a machinery ring. Someone on here may pick up on these posts.

hope so and where are you based i wouldn't mind doing some unpaid work to just to get into the trade see how its done and i can also do clearing and things like that oh and the other reason is i love being out and about
