Grade: 5 - £22,554 per annum with possible progression to £25,016

Contract: Fixed Term, 3 years, 37 hours per week (annualised hours)

 

Oxford City Council has a vacancy for a fixed term Skilled Arborists in our Leisure, Parks & Communities Service Area. This is an exciting opportunity to join us in our journey from Good to Great. We maintain over 1,000 hectares of parks, green spaces, cemeteries, sports areas and 87 play areas and have 5 green flag awards for our parks.

 

Main Duties & Responsibilities

 

•To deliver practical arboricultural operations within Oxford City Council owned and managed property plus areas of work outside the city that OCC are completing, including tree climbing, aerial rescue, dismantling, pruning, stump treatments and equipment maintenance.
