Job Title: Team leader/Climber/Arborist

 

Location: Wimborne and Mendip

 

Salary: Highly Competitive

 

We currently have opportunities for experienced Arborists at our Mendip and Wimborne contracts. These roles will be undertaking all aspects of arboricultural works to BS3998 2010 including formative pruning, crown thinning, crown lifting, crown reduction, reshaping, straight and sectional felling works. Successful candidates must hold NPTC units CS30, 31, 32, 38,39 as a minimum requirement; together with experience in arboricultural operations with competency certification in Brushwood Chipper. Qualifications in Chapter 8, First Aid training, Stump Grinders, CS 40 and CS41 would be desirable.

 

Candidates must also have key skills in tree and fungus identification and a good working knowledge of modern arboricultural practices and techniques.

 

The roles will also involve completion of health and safety documentation including risk assessments, vehicle and equipment checklists and implementation of tree work specifications to a high standard.

 

The ideal candidates will be self motivated individuals with a flexible approach. A pro active and positive, professional attitude is essential as well as an ability to work well under pressure. A full, clean driver’s license with B+E, Additional category C1+E would be desirable.
