Wiring help needed for Cabrio 310

Wiring on my little used McCulloch Cabrio 310 strimmer has come adrift.

 

The silver braided wire out of the ignition coil and a thin black wire from the off/on switch have no obvious connection point. The latter has been ripped from its tag.

 

What should I connect them to? Parts diagrams show the wires, but not where to connect them. Grateful for help/pic of how to resolve things.

 

Pity, because it was going so well following an overhaul.
