File size & Replacement chain - Makita DCS5000

Morning,

 

I've got a Makita dcs5000 and looking to get a file to sharpen the chain, but not sure what size to get....

Would also like to order up a spare chain at the same time.

 

I've attached a couple of photos of the bar and chain that are on it just now.

 

on the chain there are markings of "099" or could be "660" depending on orientation.

then another marking of "25"

and branded "dolmar"

 

on the bar

"Makita GT"

"3/8 56 1.5/.58"

"443.038.651"

 

any help appreciated!

 

oh...and if anyone has a link to the exact instruction manual...that would be handy!

how did you get the file size, from the above data? taht would be 5.5mm in new money, right?

 

and for the Oregon chain, is there somewhere i could have found that information myself?

 

curiosity and appetite for learning :)
