Hi i was wondering if anyone uses ground subbies in cornwall? My name is Darren Payne im 25, based in St Austell and looking for some ground work. Ive been a groundie for a couple of years now and am in the process of learning to climb.

I can do all what you would expect from a groundie like graft and not say awkward things infront of customers! im good at hedges, stacking and chipping efficiently, lowering, communicating, and leaving a clean tidy job etc. Ive worked on big fells and back yard titivating and feel i have the initiative to crack on with work on arrival.

Ive done some basic climbing like fruit tree pruning, dead wooding and back to boundary work with a little bit of lowering but im not advertising this as i dont have a ticket just yet. i am however very keen to learn and would consider employment opportunities. ive learnt most of the important knots, i can tie on carabiners, change saw strops use running bowlines, tie rope to rope etc.

I have all my own PPE including climbing kit and own transport. i have 3 approved references if need be, just ask and i can give you the contact details.

cheers,

my number is 07761029933
