Can anyone recommend a supplier near ponypridd?

 

The chap also travels up to leomester occasionally and he has seen a sawmill near whitney on wye - do es anyone know its name please?

Thanks WprcsWuss - I think you are right - it prob is them...

 

However they have no Lime in at the moment..!

 

Any other possibilities you can think of...?

I've no idea to be honest, it's a bit outside my field, Lime's not a wood I've ever had a use for unfortunately.... Have you tried web searching, Lime blanks for carving seem to come up as a mail order thing....?

Hi Martin,

 

I have some wonderful quality fully air dried lime in 3 and 4 inch thick slabs, 8-9ft long and up to 32 inches wide. Mostly flawless (without pips, knots, shake or cracks).

 

£22 a cubic foot plus VAT.
