I,ll compromise...Yale blue toungue 11.7 OR Velocity are the way forward...We have both mentioned that for it to self tend to it,s best it really is about pulling the rope "into" the Spiderjack and if it,s a either of these ropes (Or similar)it will just "drop through"with no friction whatsoever

 

Agreed, Blue toungue works well :001_smile: I find the Imori's problem is its too floppy to self tend easily. I think you need something with a tighter braid like the velocity or blue tounge. (and some others, but i have no experience on any others)

I used Cougar Blue which is 11.7mm the other day through my spiderjack and it was tending nicely it is an extremely tight outer jacket and is incredibly static for a regular climbing line i would say that and velocity are the best i have used, a thinner rope with static properties and tight outer jacket works really well
